Throughout His Epistles, Paul gives several illustrations of the transformation that Jesus brings into our lives. He knows your actions, He knows your thoughts, He knows what you have done, He knows what you are going to do, and He loves you anyway! I find that to be absolutely amazing. Even greater than that, is the fact that God knows more about you than anyone. I am thankful for parents, children, and a spouse who possess unconditional love for me! It is amazing that your family knows you better than anyone else and they love you anyway. LORD, REMIND ME OF YOUR LOVE - v21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

It would be beneficial for each and every born again Christian to get alone with God and pray: As we walk through this power packed verse, I want us see how important it is for us to stop from time to time and say “Lord, Remind Me”.

There are several different groups of people in this place today: Some of you need to be changed by Jesus Christ, some of you have been transformed by Jesus Christ, and some need to be reminded that they have been transformed by Jesus Christ. Titus 2:14 says that Jesus “gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” What Jesus did for Paul, He has done for all who belong to Him. Jesus did a great work in His life and He changed him eternally. There is no one more qualified to describe the transformation that Jesus can bring than the Apostle Paul. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away behold, all things are become new”. He says “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” If you will look to verse 17, Paul speaks of the great change that is brought about in those who are “in Christ”. In 2 Corinthians 5:21 Paul points to the amazing work that God has done in the life of a believer. I would like to look at our selected text today and preach a message simply titled “Lord, Remind Me”. For that reason, we need to humbly bow and ask the Lord to remind us of what He has done. Furthermore, there are times when we fail to remember all that He has done for us in the past. There are times when we fail to recognize what God is doing in our lives. But when You do good things, just roll back the curtain and remind me of them and I’ll thank you for them.” I know you must have done a million things like this that I did not know or remember, and have not thanked you for. She said “Lord, I appreciate you for doing this for me. But it is more than a song it is a prayer that Dottie Rambo prayed shortly after signing her first recording contract. This is a song that many of us have known for decades. Show me where you brought me from and where I could have been. Roll back the curtain of memory now and then, The most important thing to remember, though, is that no matter how often you pray, God is always ready to listen.Yet He chose the road to Calvary to die in my stead That's why it's helpful to have some short go-to Bible verses and prayers that can provide guidance and strength through every season of your life, whether you pray every day, week, month, or barely at all. Reading a prayer for today will not only help you feel closer to God, but can also relieve daily stress and anxiety.īut if it's been a while since you read Bible scripture, finding a place to start can feel overwhelming. But having a daily habit of healing through prayer is a great way to stay grounded in your faith on a day-to-day basis and prioritize reflective time between you and God.

It can be easy to forget about the habit when life is busy or when everything is going well. For many, daily prayer is something they turn to when life becomes stressful, difficult, or saddening. Some people of faith might not want to admit it, but most can probably remember a time when reciting a daily prayer or two was not exactly a part of their everyday routine.
